Spiel-endipity

Like many things, it all started at City Market yesterday. First I spotted sweet, sweet Caroline in the frozen foods aisle. Then I encountered sultry Teresa amidst the dairy products (go see her in American Machine) and along came a sprightly Kathleen.

I should not have been surprised when a sun-kissed Beth emerged from the bread aisle but when I saw the other-worldly Roxanne in the check out line - well that was TOO MUCH!

I thought perhaps today would be back to normal but there I was munching in Stone Soup when dream team Phinn, Esse and her new Louise Brooks-bangs entered the picture. Moments later I was walking down Church St when a lovely Paula smooched me in passing.

After two days and 8 SpielPalast cast member sightings, I feel sure that something serendipitous is afoot - but what it is, only time can tell.

"It was once when I read a silly fairy tale, called The Three Princes of Serendip: as their highnesses travelled, they were always making discoveries, by accidents and sagacity, of things which they were not in quest of: for instance, one of them discovered that a mule blind of the right eye had travelled the same road lately, because the grass was eaten only on the left side, where it was worse than on the right—now do you understand serendipity?"
