Meet Marcel Marceau
But every time I look at him, he makes me happy.
Marcel does not like showers.
His sweater itches but he will not remove it.
He detests glass cases and works by candlelight.
He eats fish but will not partake in radishes.
He has fancy tastes.
Marcel does not appreciate modern art.
He enjoys rocking chairs but abhors rock music.
Marcel is good friends with recently departed, California-bound Valentin.
The two mimes are travelers, balladeers and gatherers of tall tales.
Marcel recently moved into a new house that is very old.
The verdict is still out on his housemate. She does not sleep, ever.
He is currently whispering his secrets to a pair of very silly fish.
His new best friend is blond and a wee bit bland.
He has not taken to the hobbits.
He is deciding if he might stay a while.
DON'T JUMP MARCEL!
We would miss you too much!

neat. i love seeing bits of your new house -- the headboard is beautiful, can't wait to see it in person. that was written in the style of amelia. i love it!
Such a stormy soul. So full of life yet in love with death. So dark yet absurd. Sacred and profane, beautiful and grotesque. Oh, Marcel, can anyone ever truly know you?
He doesn't look like the most unpleasant roommate. Maybe he'll let you borrow his sweater...?
Marcel looks as if he's settling in nicely at his new home. I'm so happy you like him (and he likes you!). I had no idea that he had such an extraordinary inner life!
Marcel says thanks for the attention but it embarrasses him a wee bit. If you are feeling generous, he accepts gifts of the insect variety. For coins he will do a robot dance just for you.
Wow. That borders on being an epic. Thanks for the Casa de la Deadbeat tour.
