Felix, Squid and Moose
I made some new animal friends this weekend. Felix the cat roams a big barn, climbs ladders nimbly and purrs up a storm. Squid the dog rules the Mad River Valley, cuddles quite sweetly and bounces off the walls. Mama and Baby Moose mosey on by in search of something good to eat.

You saw moose! I am sooo jealous. How mlong must I live in this state before I see one???
i too have never seen a moose and it is my life's desire! (also to see the northern lights which seem to elude me). sigh. wish i could've been there!
Suz, you + me + road trip to Northern Canada to see mooses and Northern Lights (which I also haven't seen.)
YES! I am down for that! It surprised me to realize I had never actually seen a moose in person - just on TV a million times. I wish I could have slowed down time to really watch em.
Today I saw a nest full of baby birds being fed by their mom. I fell in love. Their little mouths remained open gapping wide even when their mom was not there. they were so hungry and I wished I could regurgitate something yummy for them! Will post pics later...
i can totally see you spitting chewed up crackers or tuna or something into a baby birds mouth. see, you do have that motherly instinct!
