Aww, so damn cute!! Lani is bringing ducklings to the Old North End! I swear, this first picture looks like a children's book cover. I'll take it!

Hooray! Come over and cuddle any time! We're trying to socialize them, so really -- the more contact the better. I spent an hour + 1/2 holding them on my lap and against my heart yesterday. So sweet and nuzzly.
They'd also be hysterical to film -- especially when they run around, quacking, with their little wing nubs flapping. Hilarious.
I have no idea which is Rosie and which is Fig. For now, Fig is whichever one is misbehaving at the moment (nipping my fingers, flapping + quacking).
Oooh.. I think Lani is one of the most beautiful women alive. I think of her as an illustration, combining everything about marvelous and mythic womanhood. And the duckies.. my god, the combination is just killing me.. What a friend!
