This Old House
When one is procrastinating from editing, the best thing to do is something else that one tends to avoid: CLEAN! And the great thing about living in an old ass house is that there is ALWAYS lots to clean!
BEFORE CLEANING CREEPY TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE ROOM AFTER CLEANING CREEPY TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE ROOM
I am also in the process of slowly trying to winterize my old house. I never anticipated winter with such dread until it became MY JOB to make this house a fortress of WARM. So I am caulk gunning, caulk roping and cellophaning up the windows, preparing the gardens, turning off the hose water and crossing my fingers that the chimney does not fall over until spring when a mason might have time to come and deal with it.
Winter, you are a stern mistress. Please be kind to my dear old, tattered home.

Yes, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre room must remain creepy. Don't make me start a petition!
SEE! I am doing as Molly commands!
If you like, I will let you use my caulk gun...
I think a cat in a bucket is scarier than a TCM room.
And here I thought you were cleaning kittehs from your lovely house...
