Uh Oh
I just got Burlington Telecom and made the unwise choice of buying cable TV. It is all over for me now. I have upwards of 150 channels. My brain is in for a real jello treat.
These are post-storm sky pics from the crazy thunderstorms we have been having. I love this cool stormy weather. Heat is great and all but dark and tumultuous skies are so much better.

NOOOOOOOOOO! Once someone gets cable all they talk about is cable shows. It's almost as bad as when they have a baby. Boo. THUMBS DOWN.
You: Did you see ______ last night?
ME: No, I don't have cable.
You: Oh...
::awkward silence::
Cable kills another friendship.
Oh Molly, you will feel differently when you come over to my house and watch my magic cable TV. We will flip and flip and flip and our heads will go numb from excitement!
PS Have you ever seen this movie John and Mary from the 60s? i stumbled upon it late last night and quite enjoyed it. GO CABLE!
"JOHN & MARY" staring Mia & Dustin. Pop cinema portrait of the late sixties from the late sixties.
And now that you have cable be sure to watch "No Reservations" with host Anthony Bourdain on the Travel Channel... second best show on TV after "TOP GEAR" on BBC America.
And remember that since you make a living in the TV biz you can deduct your Cable TV bill from your income tax! An important part of your job is keeping informed of trends in TV production, i.e. via Cable TV. It's just like a subscription to a professional trade journal.
I have to admit - I think cable is probably an important part of Deadbeatitude. I do watch a whole lotta tee-vee I've just substituted horror movies for cable. It gives me a false sense of accomplishment. Like I'm archiving.
